Jimmy Oliver, 85 of Lynn, died Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Cave City. Born September 24, 1930 in Monette, to Auther Chester and Noma Dee Foley Oliver. He was a lifelong resident of Lynn and a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Jimmy served our country in the United States Army was a factory worker and an avid Cardinals, Razorbacks and high school basketball fan.

Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Miles A. Oliver, Billy Gene “Bill” Oliver; sister, Shirley Fan Oliver Dearman.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Dickison Oliver; sons, Jimmy Steven Oliver(Debbie), Ranny Don Oliver(Sharon); daughter, Linda Marie Oliver Johnson(Scotty); brothers, Glenn, Kenneth and Jerry Wayne Oliver; sisters, Inez Williams, Mary Nunnally, Patsy Barker, Barb Brannon; grandchildren, Brady Oliver(Leslie), Kristi Hufstedler(Brent), Eric Oliver, Jennifer Ditto, Trey Highfield, Megan Jones(Jared), Natalie Johnson;8 great-grandsons.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 20, 2015 at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Lynn with Phillip Lewallen and Jeff Neely officiating. Burial will follow at Dry Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 6:30-8:30p.m. at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Pallbearers: Nathan Oliver, Malcolm Oliver, Mark Brannon, Brad Brannon, Dwight Brannon, Brett Broadway.
