Carrie Cheatham, 97, of Lincoln died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 1995, at Medi-Homes Nursing Home in Prairie Grove.
Born May 16, 1897, in Garland, Texas, the daughter of Floyd Davis and Margaret C. Cundiff Andrews, she was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church and was married to Wyette Stevens Tucker Cheatham.
Survivors are four daughters, Bernice McGowan of Stockton, Calif., Mary Jane Lowe and Esther Bottoms, both of Lincoln, and Ruth Kyle of Sallisaw, Okla.; four sons, Davie Cheatham, Junior L. Cheatham and Wayne W. Cheatham, all of Lincoln, and Lloyd R. Cheatham of Westville, Okla.; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove with the Rev. Tim Gyles officiating. Burial will be in the Cheatham Cemetery in Lincoln.
