KELLEY, Mary Ellen TAYLOR - Mary Ellen Taylor (better known as Aunt Polly} daughter of Garland and Nancy Taylor, was born at Garfield, Ark. June 3rd, 1863 and died April 8, 1929, being 66 years, 10 months and 5 days old. In 1894 she married M.P. Kelly(?) of Garfield. To this union were born four children, two girls and two boys. The two girls, Mrs. Grover Hays of Rogers and Mrs. Cora Carrier of Wichita, Kansas, survive her. Lee died in infancy and Albert died about two years ago. She joined the Missionary Baptist church in 1909. The past twenty years she has lived with Mrs. Grover Hays, her daughter. Her health failed about fifteen years ago and she has been a great sufferer since but bore her afflictions patiently as becometh the children of God. She took suddenly worse April 1st and after suffering a week passed to her reward. She was a good woman. She leaves two children, four step children, two brothers and a large number of other relatives and friends to mourn her loss. A Friend.

KELLY, Mary {Polly} E. TAYLOR - {from Providence} Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Tuesday) for Aunt Polly Kelly, who passed away Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Grover Hays of Rogers, with whom she was living. She was a sister of Uncle Jim Taylor who died in January; also a sister of Elder John Taylor of this place. She has a host of relatives and friends here who regret to hear of her death.

Mrs. Mary E. Kelly, better known as "Aunt Polly" Kelly, passed away at 7 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Grover Hays, at 322 North 6th St., after a long illness. Besides Mrs. Hays she is survived by another daughter of Wichita, Kansas. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Walnut Hill, near Garfield, with burial in the Walnut Hill cemetery in charge of J.W. Bryant.
