FAYETTEVILLE — Wesley Eiland, 72, of Fayetteville, died Friday, July 16, 2010, in Fayetteville. He was born Aug. 15, 1937, in Lockney, Texas, the son of Vestal and Dora Smith Eiland. He was a retired farmer and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Loyd Eiland.

Survivors include his wife, Burnis Eiland of the home; two sons, Jackie Eiland and wife, Deanna, and Danny Eiland and wife, Liz, all of Fayetteville; one daughter, Kathy McCoy and husband, Mike, of Fayetteville; three brothers, James Eiland of Lincoln, Lewis Eiland of Copperas Cove, Texas, and Bill Eiland of Wesley; two sisters, Dora Storie of Little Elm, Texas, and Delia Capperton of Springdale; two grandsons, Joey and Jermey Eiland; five granddaughters, Amy Eiland, Beth McCoy, Julie Bradshaw, Holly Eiland and Madison Eland; and two great-grandchildren, Macey Faulkner and Hattie Bradshaw.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Round Mountain Cemetery, with the Rev. Jerod Bradshaw officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Beard's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville.

FAYETTEVILLE - Burnis Eiland, age 75, of Fayetteville passed away Sunday April 13, 2014, in Fayetteville. She was born Oct. 25, 1938, in East Texas to Jack and Era May Brown Heflin. She was a member of Harris Baptist Church in Elkins. Was preceded in death by her husband Wesley Eiland.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy McCoy and her husband Mike of Fayetteville; two sons, Jackie Eiland and his wife Deanna of Fayetteville; Danny Eiland and his wife Liz of Fayetteville; two sisters, Kay Conder of Abilene, Texas; Rita Martin of Plainview, Texas; three brothers, Rob Heflin and Thomas Heflin both of Plainview, Texas, Lewis Heflin of Alba, Texas; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Moore's Chapel. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Round Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
