LINCOLN — Dean Waller Patterson, 75, of Lincoln died April 7, 2004, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born Aug. 2, 1928, in Hamilton, Canada, to Charles Stanley and Hellen Gertrude Waller Patterson. He was a member of the Unity Church in Arlington, Texas. He attended Donna High School in Texas and Southwestern University in a Naval V-5 Aviation Preparatory Program at Georgetown, Texas, where he earned a private pilot license. He continued his education in California at San Diego State College, San Diego Technical School and Foothill College in Los Altos. He was an aerospace design engineer at General Dynamics on the Altas ICBM program and at Hiller Aircraft, and Bell Helicopter. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. His caregivers were Mary Bridges and Sue Heisler, both of Lincoln.

Survivors include several cousins including Nancy Waller Derry of Brookings Harbor, Ore.

No services are planned.

Burial will be in National Cemetery at Fayetteville.

Arrangements are by Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove.
