Mary Gelene McClellan, 85, of Ozark, Arkansas, died Thursday, April 7, 2016 in Ozark.
She was born August 30, 1930 in the Jethro Community of Ozark to Kie and Luna Hawkins McLaughlin.
She was a retired payroll clerk for Cargill, and a poultry farmer for Cargill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mun McClellan; a granddaughter, Khai Marinda Haynes; a brother George McLaughlin; and a sister Lucille Nichols.
Gelene is survived by two sons, Mack McClellan and wife Sandra of Ozark, and Joe McClellan and wife Debbie of Ozark; and one daughter, Sherry McClellan of Ozark; six grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Highland Cemetery with Reverend Steve Sawrie officiating under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home. Open viewing will be after 11:00 AM Friday at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial Street in Ozark.
Grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
