KINCAID, L. Clifford - L. Clifford Kincaid died Monday morning, May 25, at the home five miles west of Centerton, following an illness of typhoid fever. The funeral service was conducted at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the home, conducted by Rev. E.L. Boyle of the Community church, assisted by members of that choir. Interment was in the Gamble cemetery. Mr. Kincaid was a native of Illinois, being born in that state on November 15, 1867. At the age of seven years he had moved to Kansas where he grew to manhood, living there for 22 years. He came to Arkansas in 1896 and had since made this state his home. In November 1892 he was married to Miss Helen Sprague and to this union seven children were born, one of whom, Jessie L., died on Sept. 8, 1905. He is survived by six other children and seven grandchildren. The sons are, Frank W. Kincaid of Hill, N. Mex., Jewett R., Orla W. and Bertie L. The daughters are Eunice A. and Gertie, all of Gravette, which has been the home post office of the deceased for the past 25 years.
