BENTONVILLE — Charlene Wiens, 73, of Bentonville died May 26, 2006, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. She was born Aug. 10, 1932, in Osage to Acie Ferguson and Mable Shackelford Ferguson. She was retired from Bentonville Schools.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald S. Wiens of the home; three sons, Dan Wiens of Fayetteville, Wendell Wiens of Bentonville, and Galen Wiens and wife Cheryl of Bella Vista; three daughters, Darlene Patton and husband Vernon of Bentonville, Glenda Lambert and husband Danny of Bentonville, and Cheryl Harrison and end Clyde of Decatur; two brothers, Virgil Ferguson of Centerton and J.C. Ferguson of Hot Springs; two sisters, Jo Baldridge of Bentonville and Sue Taylor of Bentonville; 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bentonville Nazarene Church, with the Rev. Mark Lindstrom officiating. Burial will be in Bentonville Cemetery.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Rollins Funeral Home, online at www.rollinsfuneral.com.

Pallbearers are Jake Wiens, Zack House, Dewey Patton, Todd Patton, Jeremy Patton and Dustin Wiens. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Perrin, Derek Lambert, Boedy Perrin and Lance Perrin.

BENTONVILLE - Gerald Stanley Wiens, 87, of Bentonville passed away Saturday, April 11. He was born in Floris, Okla., on April 13, 1927, to the late Jacob and Katie Wiens.

He was a lifelong Nazarene. Upon graduation from Alpena High, he entered the U.S Army and proudly served in Germany as an ambulance driver. His children recall those skills continued to be honed as he continued to drive the most direct route, as fast as possible and without stopping.

He enjoyed reading, gardening, watching football and working on cars. But he loved the time he could spend with his family.

For 56 years he was the loving husband of his wife Charlene Wiens, who along with his parents preceded him in death.

He is survived by three sons, Dan Wiens of Fayetteville, Wendell Wiens and Galen (Cheryl) Wiens of Bentonville; three daughters, Darlene (Vernon) Patton of Ozark, Glenda (Danny) Lambert of Bentonville and Cheryl (Clyde) Harrison of Decatur; a brother, Eldean Wiens of Springdale; two sisters, Eunice Seaton and Lillian Altus of Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be this afternoon at 1 p.m. and the Funeral service at 2 p.m., both at Bentonville Church of the Nazarene with Interment to follow at Bentonville Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. www.RollinsFuneral.com.
