CENTERTON — Harry "Dave" David Sabin., 76, of Centerton died Sunday April 27, 2014, at Circle of Life Hospice Bentonville. He was born July 29, 1937, in Chicago, Ill., the son of Frances Register and Harry William Sabin.

He proudly served in the United States Army where he earned an Honorable Discharge. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Centerton.

Dave enjoyed studying the Civil War, traveling Route 66, collecting model tractors, listening to music, and traveling.

He was a teacher for many years. He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for seven years after moving from Lockport, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dave is survived by his loving wife, Sandra "Sandy" Sabin of Centerton; two sons, Brian Sabin and his wife Laquita, of Bentonville, Jeff Sabin and his wife Tricia, of Eagle, Neb.; two brothers, Tim Sabin and his wife Barbara, of Illinois, Phil Sabin and his wife Joyce, of Ohio; three sisters, Pat Brubaker and her husband Jim, of Illinois, Nancy Herweck and her husband Hal, of Missouri, Mary Beth Augspurger and her husband Bob, of Illinois; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 29, 2014, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Centerton.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Centerton. Interment will follow at Bentonville Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to Gideon's International, First Baptist Church of Centerton, or Circle of Life Hospice.
