ROBBINS, Park E. - Died at her home near Bentonville July 30, Park E. Robbins, aged 24 years, 5 months and 28 days. Park was born in the home where she died Feb. 2, 1880. The whole of her short but beautiful and amiable life was spent in this community. Here she formed her first acquaintances and associates and infant feet were turned to the house of God, to the Sabbath school and the service of the sanctuary. She received the Lord Jesus as her Savior and was received into the C.P. church - Woods Congregation - Dec. 10th, 1893, in which communion she lived a model christian life, the impress of which will be felt for good upon the hearts and lives of her companions and associates, and upon our whole community. About six months ago she was stricken with a fatal disease. Her skillful physician and loving friends exhausted every effort of relief but in vain. Through all of her suffering and affliction she manifested the greatest fortitude, patience and submission. A large concourse of kindred, friends and acquaintances attended the funeral services at Mt. Eden church, where she gave her heart to God and where she had been accustomed to worship, after which the remains were borne to the cemetery and carefully laid away to await the summons of Him who is the resurrection and the life. May grace, mercy and peace rest upon this sorrowing home. P. Carnahan, Pastor.
