ROBBINS, Charles Lester - Charles Lester Robbins died at his home in Bentonville on Sunday evening, November 29th, 1925 of heart trouble after an illness of nearly one year. He was 47 years old. Funeral services were held at the M.E. Church, South on Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. Stephen A. Morton officiating. The funeral was largely attended. Besides his widow, Mrs. Lulu Robbins, he is survived by one son, Sherman Robbins, and two daughters, Frances and Virginia, also by his mother, Mrs. N.H. Robbins, two brothers, Homer and Henry Robbins, all of Bentonville and a sister, Mrs. G.C. Lipscomb, of Polytechnic, Texas. Charles L. Robbins was born on the old family homestead east of Bentonville on April 26th, 1878. He had lived in Bentonville and vicinity all his life. On November 25th, 1904 he was married to Miss Lulu Kate Howard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Howard. Both families were prominent pioneers of this section.
