Victor Garland Harless, 86, of Ashdown died Tuesday, May 5, 2009.
Mr. Harless was born Dec. 5, 1922, in Tom, Okla. He was former owner of Ashdown TV Service, former co-owner of a TV repair business, formerly employed in oil exploration with a seismographic company and a World War II Coast Guard veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Vera Harless; one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Angela Harless of Ashdown; one daughter, Rosemary Harless of Ashdown; five grandchildren, John Harless, Daniel Harless, Jacob Whitley, Adam Asberry and Emily Asberry; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were 2 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2009, at Blackland Cemetery, Foreman, Ark., with David Fomby officiating. Burial was under direction of Madden Funeral Home.

Vera Pate Harless, 83, of Ashdown died Saturday, July 25, 2009.
Mrs. Harless was born Feb. 16, 1926, in Arkinda, Ark. She was a former pharmacy employee and a member of Ashdown Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Harless.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Angela Harless of Ashdown; one daughter, Rosemary Harless of Ashdown; one sister, Connie Bell of Foreman, Ark.; five grandchildren, John Harless, Daniel Harless, Jacob Whitley, Adam Asberry and Emily Asberry; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Church of Christ, Ashdown, with David Formby officiating. Burial was at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at Blackland Cemetery, Foreman, under direction of Madden Funeral Service.
