Mrs. Jessie Hardin Cathey, 81, of Elliott died Wednesday. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Elliott Baptist Church. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery near Louann under the direction of Proctors Funeral Home. Mrs. Cathey was a member of the Elliott Baptist Church and was the widow of F. C. Cathey. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ed Pace, of Camden and Mrs. Loy Cross of Elliott; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. (Camden News - September 24, 1975)
