Alice Victoria Dockins Lancaster of Melbourne, Arkansas.
Alice Victoria Dockins Lancaster, daughter of the late Walter Lorne Dockins and Susie C. Wilkes Dockins, was born October 26, 1923 in Brockwell, Arkansas. She departed this life April 16, 2017 in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 93 years, 5 months and 21 days.
She was united in marriage to Elmer Lancaster. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend.
She is survived by four grandchildren: Darren Hellums of Jonesboro, Tammy Hellums Cline of Conway, Brent Lancaster and wife Emily of Yellville and Nick Bull of Melbourne; twelve great grandchildren: Nathan Hellums, Hunter Cline, Brendon Cline, Aziah Robinson, Tori Cline, Cally Cline, Destiny Markowski, Michael Cottier, Emily Lancaster, Katie Cottier, Layton Lancaster, Tristan Bull; two great great grandchildren: Gannon Gellums, Gabriella Hellums and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters: Virginia Hellums, Lesa Bull; one infant son: Victor Lancaster; six brothers: Remmell Dockins, Lester Dockins, Willie Dockins, Shafter Dockins, Thruman Dockins and Seaborn Weston; five sisters: Epper Yancey, Kate Clark, Nola Sanders, Gradie Melton, Mathie Sanders.
Graveside funeral service will be Thursday, April 20 at 10:00 a.m. at Wayland Arbor Cemetery in Dolph, Arkansas with Gene Baird officiating. Arrangements by Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers: Willie Dean Sumner, Karry Dockins, Gary Dickerson.
