Funeral services for Rose Mary Allen Hawkins, age 98, of Tulip, Ark., who died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, will be held Sunday, Feb. 25, 2006, at 12:30 p.m. at Toones Chapel A.M.E. Church in Tulip, Ark. Rose Mary Allen Hawkins was born May 18, 1907, to the late Jim and Sarah Jones Allen in Tulip, Ark. She was a member of Toones Chapel A.M.E. Church in Tulip, Ark. Rose Mary Hawkins was predeceased by her parents; husband, Hugh Hawkins; three brothers, Lerna Allen; Woodie Allen and Haszola Allen; two sisters, Annie Matt and Georgie Allen; and two step-children, Minnie Collins and Chester Smith. Survivors are one son, Troy Hawkins of Tulip, Ark.; one daughter, Corrine Hawkins Johnson of Sparkman, Ark.; two step-children, Pernell Mays (Carolyn) of Malvern, Ark. and Mary Sue Clark of Princeton, Ark.; 22 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 45 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Marks Funeral Home in Fordyce, Arkansas.
