Tristam Allen Davis was born in Iowa June 24, 1851. He departed this life Monday, July 10, 1922 at his home near Siloam Springs, Ark. He was 71 years old. On January 27, 1881 he was married to Laura Bell Horton and to this union 3 sons were born. He was a consecrated Christian and was a faithful worker for his church and Sunday school and his passing on is a great loss to the community in which he lived. He leaves a wife, 3 sons, 3 sisters, 2 brothers and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his departure. Funeral services were held from the Lone Elm church Wednesday, July 12 at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. C.D. Purlee and interment was in Lone Elm cemetery.
