*DEDICATION STONE

Simmons Plantation Memorial Cemetery
Mississippi County,
Arkansas

This Cemetery was established in 1923 for the black workers on Simmons Plantation. The only stone marked notes a death in 1964. Therefore, it can only be assumed there are other unmarked graves. The cemetery is very small and overgrown.
Bordered on the South by Ditch No. 21 and the East by Miss. Co. Road 407 north of the intersection of AR HWY 18 and
AR HWY 181 between Manila and Dell, Arkansas.
