FARMINGTON — Billy Lee Gardner, 72, of Farmington died Nov. 4, 2005, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born Dec. 31, 1932, at Terrell, Tenn., to G.L. and Ruby Walker Gardner. He was a resident of Blytheville for 42 years, where be was the owner of Gardner's Burger Broil for 19 years. He was a meat salesman for Reelfoot Backing Co. of Union City, Tenn., for 39 years. He worked as a courier for Land Trust Title Co. of Farmington the last few months of his life.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Jean Alice Daniel Gardner of the home; two sons, Danny Gardner and wife Londa of Meridian, Miss., Allen Gardner and wife Janet of Siloam Springs; a daughter, Gloria Downing of Olive Branch, Miss.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Services will he at 2 p.m. Monday at the Old Wire Church of Christ in Fayetteville with Danny Gardner, Olin Kern and Berry Kercheville officiating. Burial will follow at Farmington Cemetery. Arrangements are by Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove.
Pallbearers will be Dan Kilgore, Earl Hinely, Mike Downing, Harrel Hampton, Jason Hill and Bobby Daniel.

SPRINGDALE — Jean Gardner, 81, a resident of Springdale, Ark., passed from this life Monday, Nov. 23, at 8:20 a.m. at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born on March 31, 1934, at Union City, Tenn., the daughter of Raymond and Lurleen Daniel.
She resided in Blytheville, Ark., with her husband Bill for 42 years. She and Bill moved to Fayetteville in 1998.
She was preceded in death by Bill in November 2005. Jean continued Bill's legacy of being an avid Razorback fan. She loved and took care of her family and friends.
Survivors include two sons, Danny Gardner and wife Londa of Springdale, Ark., Allen Gardner and wife Janet of Prairie Grove, Ark.; one daughter, Gloria Downing of Fayetteville, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Lee Gardner and wife Heather, Amber Gardner, Wendy Hinely, Michael Downing and wife Le Downing, Blake Gardner, Alexis Gardner; eight great-grandchildren, Janna, Jolie, Deuce Hinely; Avery, Parker, Garrett Gardner; Ben, and Andi Downing.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday morning, 10 a.m. at the Old Wire Road Church of Christ, Fayetteville, Ark., by Danny Gardner and Craig Bradley. Burial will follow at the Farmington Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Barry Gasaway, Lucas Griggs, Kyle Nash, Stuart Bray, Brian Sharp, and Joe Feagin.
