Kathryn Kay Horton Jones of North Little Rock, Arkansas
Kathryn Kay Horton Jones, daughter of the late Earl Horton and Altha Lee Chrisco Horton, was born June 30, 1924 in Beedeville, Arkansas. She departed this life January 11, 2017 in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 92 years, 6 months and 12 days. She spent her life as a loving, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. Her working years were spent selling real estate and owning and managing rental properties. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two sons: Gene Jones and wife Mary of Sage, Arkansas and Ronnie Jones of Austin, Arkansas; one sister: Julie Owens of Flint, Michigan; six granddaughters: Rebecca K Murphy, Gena Dang, Amanda Brown, Nicole Grantham, Christy Silkin and Deborah Robberts; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Ruth Bonecutter, Mary Horton; and two brothers: Charles Horton and Lester Horton.
Graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, January 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Combs Cemetery with Rick Burke officiating. Arrangements by Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
