Lowell C. Gray, 81, of Guy, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 10, 2017. He was born on Monday, June 10, 1935 in Guy, Arkansas to the late Claude and Lula (Shaw) Gray. Lowell was a member of Sardis Freewill Baptist Church, was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. "Paw" enjoyed watching his grandchildren play ball and loved to ride four wheelers with Jeremy.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years; Barbara (Martin) Gray; daughter, Debbie Passmore (Dwayne) of Guy; grandson, Jeremy Passmore (Andreanna) of guy; two great-grandchildren, Alexis and Ryleigh Passmore; Brother Bill Gray and sister, Linda Langley.
Lowell is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Brenda Gray, and three brothers, Bryan, Noel and Joel Gray.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 12, 2017, at Copperas Springs Baptist Church in Guy. Burial will follow in Old Texas Cemetery with Brother Gary Burdin and Brother Wesley Watts officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Services are entrusted to Bishop-Crites Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
