Billy Gene McNutt age 73 of Flippin, Arkansas passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016 in the Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. Billy Gene was born in Witt Springs, Arkansas on January 4, 1943. He was the son of the late Denzel and Eula (Compton) McNutt. Mr. McNutt was a retired engineer for the Arkansas Missouri Pacific Railroad, a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of the White River Full Gospel Church; he also had worked a Baxter Lab, and Foremost Milk Company. He was a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at the White River Full Gospel Church. He had been a resident of Marion County most of his married life. Billy Gene married the former Sharon Jefferson on December 2, 1961.
Mr. McNutt is survived by:
His wife: Sharon of Flippin, Arkansas
Two daughters: Theresa McNutt of Flippin, Arkansas Paige Smith and her husband; Joey of Fayetteville, Arkansas
His Mother in Law: Dorse Lee Jefferson of Flippin, Arkansas
One Brother: Bruce McNutt of Witt Springs, Arkansas
Mr. McNutt is also survived by Four Grandchildren:
Anthony McNutt and his wife; Crystal of Siloam Springs, Arkansas Abby Townsley of Flippin, Arkansas Jessie Smith of Denver, Colo Alex Smith of Salt Lake City, Utah
Billy Gene is also survived by 6 nieces and 4 nephews and numerous great nieces & Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother; Opal, a great granddaughter; Kyli Kalberoh, by one nephew and his Father-in-law: Kyle Jefferson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Burns Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Celebration of Life Services.
