BELLA VISTA — Sarah Blanche Totten, 91, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark. She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, on Dec. 22, 1922, to Rebecca and Ben Tipton.
Sarah was a resident of Electra, Texas, until 1995 when she moved to Bella Vista, Ark.
She was a member of the Bella Vista Baptist Church, an active member of the women's Missionary Union and also a longtime Sunday school teacher.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother (Ben); a daughter (Becky); and her husband (James).
She is survived by her son, James Totten (Sandy) of Tacoma, Wash.; her daughter, Sally Coltharp (Chet) who just relocated to Bella Vista, Ark., from Vicenza, Italy, and grandchild, Jeff Coltharp (Katya) of Krakow, Poland.
A graveside service will be held at the Bella Vista Memorial Gardens at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4.
