Barron D. Gottry, age 87, of Hot Springs, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014.
He was born on December 29, 1926, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, the son of Raymond Delose Gottry and Ethel Mae Cross Gottry.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and one sister.
Barron was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and served in WWII, was a member of the Emblem Club #194 and the Elks Lodge #380.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Debra and David Hoherz of Scottsdale, Arizona; one granddaughter and her husband, Nicole and Hart Williams of Denver, Colorado; one great-grandson, Winston Samuel Williams of Denver, Colorado; his companion, Maryann Callaway of Hot Springs; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Interment is in The Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock.
Arrangements were under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
