June 16, 1937 - July 19, 2012
Faye Edwards, age 75 of Tulip passed away July 19, 2012 at HSC Medical Center. She was born June 16, 1937 in Marshall County, Mississippi, the daughter of Marvin and Lois Samples Rankin. Lois was a member of Tulip Baptist Church. She loved and cherished her family and church family. Faye loved working with flowers, and welcomed all stray animals. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother and one great-grandchild.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters; Jaye Summerhill and husband Larry of Helena, Pat Ramsey and husband Bo of Tulip, and Dardy Ward of West Helena; grandchildren John Summerhill, Katie Anne Summerhill and husband Mark Patrick, Carrie McBride, and Rachel Ward, ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be Sunday, July 22 at 2:00pm at Tulip Cemetery with Bro Phil Matthews officiating.
