Anna Lee Royals Sherrell of Brockwell, Arkansas
Anna Lee Royals Sherrell, daughter of the late Loman Royals and Velda Vaughn Royals, was born April 10, 1933. She departed this life February 19, 2017 in Brockwell, Arkansas at the age of 83 years, 10 months and 9 days. She was united in marriage to Cecil Sherell November 29, 1949 in Melbourne, Arkansas and to this union two children were born. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. During her lifetime she work at many different jobs. In the 1950's she went to Washington and picked cherries, she worked in a café and small town grocery stores. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Oxford Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Peggy and Tom Curtis of Brockwell; one sister: Barbara Watson of Melbourne; six grandchildren: Sheila Miller, Barbie Baty, Rick Skidmore, Kelly Perkins, Brad Skidmore, Amber Puckett; 18 great grandchildren: Shirley, Sheena, Mercedes, Shayenn, Brittany, Hunter, Shelby, Dani, Dillon, Logan, Keegan Bryce, Maci, Halle, McKenzie, Kallie, Cole and Maddie; seven great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son: Jerry Sherrell; two brothers: Charles Royals and Dale Royals and three grandchildren: Mckinley Skidmore, Robert Henderson and Antwuane McCuien.
Graveside funeral service will be Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Oxford Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
