Maxine Treadaway, 87, of Mountain View entered into rest on April 13, 2011 in Batesville.
Maxine was born April 24, 1923 in DuQuion, Illinois to Robert E. and Clara (Lazenby) Mann.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Eastern Stars and EHC. She was a telephone operator and homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her son Larry Sullivan and wife Donna of Mtn. View; grandson Brian Sullivan and wife Jessica of Mtn. View; brother Paul Mann of Adamsville, AL and sister Margaret Owens of Montgomery, AL and host of other loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents Robert and Clara Mann; husband Charles Treadaway and brothers Robert Mann, Bruce Mann and Dan Mann.
Visitation is 6:30 – 8 p.m., Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View.
Funeral service is 10 a.m., Friday, April 15, 2011 at First United Methodist Church, Mtn. View with Pastor Ron Newberry officiating and interment in Flatwoods Cemetery, Mtn. View. Pallbearers are Whit Fowlkes, Jonathan Schrock, Dwight Gilbert, Mark Rector, Randy Bangs and Ronald Pugh. Honorary pallbearers are Roger James and Scott Beck.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home, Mtn. View is in charge of the arrangements.
