BELLA VISTA — Kenneth Lee Nowlin Sr. died Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark. He was born on Oct. 21 1931, in Rogers. Ark., to Benjamin Franklin Nowlin and Myrtle Cowan Nowlin.

He received his college degree from University of Arkansas on Jan. 25, 1958. He was a merchandise adjustment manager at Western Auto. He was a member of and past president of Bella Vista Crime Watch, and was also involved with the Lion's Club, Meals on Wheels, Bella Vista Cemetery board, served as an elder at the Church of Christ and a Mason.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Gene Nowlin.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joan Nowlin of Bella Vista, Ark.; two sons, Ken Nowlin (Ann) of Salina, Kan., Bryan Nowlin of Topeka, Kan.; and two grandchildren, Allie and Maddie of Salina, Kan.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 13, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.

A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 14, at the Bella Vista Church of Christ, 8889 West McNelly Road, Bentonville, Ark.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gospel Tracks International or charity of donors choice.
