BELLA VISTA — Charles "Chuck" E. Goodman, 64, of Bella Vista was born Feb. 6, 1951, in Monroe, La. He attended Winnsboro schools and graduated in 1969. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at the University of Louisiana Monroe in 1982. He finished his nursing career at the VA Hospital in Fayetteville in 2009.

He married Diane in 1984. She survives at their home in Bella Vista with their son, Alex, also of the home. Also surviving in Louisiana is his mother Lora Kolb, two daughters, Ashley Whittington and husband, Jason, Misty Goodman, six grandchildren, Hailey, Austin, Camron and Chandler, Tucker and Tyler, two sisters, Debbie Beard and Phyllis Watson and husband, Randy, all of Louisiana.

In his free time, he enjoyed music, fishing and hunting.

He had recently completed his education through Global University and had applied for his Pastoral Certification, responding to God's call on his life. He and Diane have been Care Pastors of Bella Vista Assembly of God since August, 2014.

Visitation will be: Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Bella Vista Assembly of God.

Funeral service will be: Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Bella Vista Assembly of God with Pastor Jonathan Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Bella Vista Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to: "The Benevolence Fund" at Bella Vista Assembly of God.
