Rickie D. Fortner, 64, of Plumerville, passed from this life on Friday, May 3, 2013. Born in Conway, Arkansas he was a son to the late Kenneth Sullivan and Clara (Roland) Fortner. Mr. Fortner was an Army Veteran, having served during the Viet Nam War with the 101st Airborne, where he received two purple hearts, two bronze stars. He retired from AP&L as a Senior Lineman. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Paula Fortner.
Those left to mourn his passing are his brothers: Mickey Fortner and wife Monta of Guy and Dickey Fortner and wife Connye of Romance; step-daughters: Carlanda Sterling of Plumerville and Tyra Hahn of Conway.
The graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Beryl Cemetery in Vilonia.

Paula Ruth Fortner, 62, of Plumerville died Monday, February 6, 2012. She was born November 4, 1949 to the late Paul Montgomery and /Ruth Woltmann Montgomery. She was a retired sales person.
She is survived by her husband Rickie Dale Fortner, two daughters, Carlanda Sterling of Plumerville and Tyra Hahn of Conway, sister, Carlmeta Kussmaul of Quitman, two brothers, Tommy Montgomery and Mickey Montgomery both of Tulsa and step-mother Margaret Montgomery of Tulsa.
Graveside services will be 10 am Wednesday, February 8, 2011 at Beryl Cemetery near Vilonia.
