Charles D. “Pinky” Welch, age 72, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Sunday February 12, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Welch was born September 2, 1944 in Yellville, Arkansas to the late Arthur W. and Ruth (Mitchell) Welch. A lifetime resident of the area, he was a cattle farmer and a member of Church on the Rock in Yellville; He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Pinky is survived by his wife Louise of the home; three daughters: Christy Willyard of Alva, Oklahoma; Jo Ann Grayson of Peel, Arkansas; Melinda Eakins of Yellville, Arkansas; two brothers: Jim Welch and Edward Welch both of Yellville, Arkansas; three sisters: Billie Phillips of Yellville, Arkansas; Jean Hyatt of Otto, North Carolina; Dorothy Shelton of Yakima, Washington; eight grandchildren: Gavin Willyard, Misty Willyard, Logan Grayson, Mary Grayson, Noah Grayson, Kyce Welch, Adriane Gepner, and C.J Eakins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Johnny Welch, Carl Welch; and sister Marie Davis.

Visitation for Mr. Welch will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kevin Duffy and Bro. Danny Spence officiating.

Interment will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Yellville.

Pallbearers will be Sammy Phillips, Larry Phillips, Chris Welch, Freddy Welch, Wayne Miles, and Matt Davenport

Honorary pallbearers will be Shawn Longhurst, Drew Longhurst, Larry Callahan, Roger Duffy, and Carl Ramey.
