Betty Jo Applegate, 87, of Holland, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 09, 2017. She was born Thursday, April 25, 1929 in Faulkner County, Arkansas to the late Joe O. Fulmer and the late Nona Mae Shaw Fulmer.

Mrs. Applegate was a homemaker and a member of Holland United Methodist Church. But most of all she was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 46 years, Larry Applegate; a daughter, Anita Burdett; and a sister, Carnelia Fulmer.

Her survivors are a daughter, Sandra Cardin (Lewis) of Holland; four grandchildren, Jason Cardin, Toni Pruitt, Shawna Shannon and Ben Burdett; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a brother, Ray Fulmer (Margie) of Holland; and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside service will be 11:00AM, Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Oakland Cemetery in Holland with Rev. Tammy Garrison officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Greenbrier.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Oakland United Methodist Church or Oakland Cemetery both in Holland.
