1918 - February 8, 1968
Colbert Lee Stott of 233 Lakeside Ave., died suddenly Thursday night enroute to a local hospital. He was a retired personnel manager and was formerly associated with NAD and ITT. Mr. Stott was born in Chidester and attended Magnolia A & M College. He was a veteran of World War II and recently retired as major in the Army Reserves. He was a member of the First Methodist Church and the American Legion and had been a resident of Camden for the past twenty three years. Mr. Stott is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jean Nunnally Stott; two sons, Dan William Stott II and John Colbert Stott both of Camden; one brother, Carl Elton Stott of Douglas, Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond Arwood of Johnson City, Tennessee and his step-mother, Mrs. D. W. Stott of Douglas, Kan. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Proctor Funeral Home. (Camden News - February 9, 1968)
