1896 - August 17, 1971
Funeral services for Louis R. Steed, 75, will be held today at Proctors Chapel at 4 p.m. Mr. Steed, a retired carpenter, died Tuesday. He is survived by a son, M/Sgt. Louis Dale Steed of USAF, Biloxi, Miss.; two daughters, Mrs. Chester Vaden and Mrs. Tiny Marie Childs both of Camden; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. (Camden News - August 18, 1971)
