Mrs. Louis R. Steed, aged 47, died at her home on East Van Buren St., Tuesday p.m. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. O. J. Childs of Barksdale Field, La. and Mrs. G. D. Yeager of Camden, one son, Louis Dale Steed of Camden, two sisters, Mrs. D. R. Barron of Texarkana, and Mrs. Harold Fritschie of St. Louis, two brothers, Claude and J. F. Borran of Camden. Funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Assembly of God Church, with Rev. A. W. Tanner, officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Proctor's in charge. (Camden News - November 10, 1948)
