Thomas L. Wright, 82, of Russellville, AR, went home to be with the Lord Friday, March 16, 2012 at Dardanelle Nursing Center in Dardanelle.
The son of Volley and Eva Wright, he was born February 2, 1930 in Vilonia, Ar.
He married Dorothy Wright on December 21, 1989 at Russellville, Ar. Thomas worked for the Corps of Engineers for many years. He was a member of the Beryl Baptist Church. Thomas always loved working on and showing Antique Cars. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Dorothy Wright of Russellville; three sons Wendell Hawkins of Ft. Worth, Tx, David Hawkins of Pottsville and Dick Wright of Russellville; six grandsons Dylan Hawkins of Conway, Hunter Hawkins of Pottsville, Brett Hawkins of Conway, Luke Wright of Fayetteville, Chance Wright of Fayetteville and Casey Wright of Russellville; and three granddaughters Christa Hawkins of Euless, Tx, Holli Hawkins of Euless, Tx and Marisa Hawkins of Pottsville
Funeral will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Humphrey Chapel. Reverend Howard Wheeler will officiate. Graveside service will be at Beryl Cemetery in Vilonia, AR at 1:00 pm on Wednesday by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, on Tuesday, at the funeral home in Russellville. Memorials may be made to Pottsville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church 25 E Ash St Pottsville, Arkansas 72858.
