December 4, 1895 - November 17, 1969
Mrs. Mavene Hanson Sifford of Little Rock died there in a hospital Monday night. She formerly lived in Camden and will be remembered here by older residents of the city. She was the widow of Jack Sifford. Mrs. Sifford is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Walter Jennings of Little Rock; four sisters, Miss Pauline Hanson, Mrs. Louis Crow, Mrs. Margaret Grant of Little Rock; and Mrs. Sam Evans of Dallas, Texas, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Proctor's Chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. The body will lie in state at Proctor's Funeral Home Tuesday night.
