Funeral services for Al Rose, Camden civic leader, who died Sunday, will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church. The body will be taken to the church at 8:30 a.m. to lie in state until the service. Pallbearers will include members of the Rose Couples Class of the First United Methodist Church, Clyde Rowe, Bill Lester, Bill Cunningham, Thelbert Wagnon, James Blagraves, Jim Foyil, John Dawson, and Donald Smith. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home. (Camden News - November 2, 1971)
