Beloved Wife of William Jordan Risinger
January 8, 1883 - February 1, 1953
Mrs. W. J. Rinsinger, 401 Graham street. and wife of W. J. Risinger, former mayor of Camden, died suddenly at her home at 5:00 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Risinger was born at Eureka Springs, Arkansas. SHe had been living in Camden for the past 26 years, having moved here from Nashville, Arkansas. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Camden, and until recently was an active member of the New Century club, and the Music club. Mrs. Risinger was a lover of flowers and took much time with the flowers around her home. Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Tressie Wolf, A granddaughter, Mrs. Virginia Lee Bateman, and three great grandchildren all of Camden. Funeral services will be held at the First Christian Church at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday conducted by Dr. George Cartwright. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery by Proctor Funeral Home. Active Casket Bearers: Jack Carnes, Russell Becker, Matt Rothert, John Stinson, Charles Malone, Coy Dildy, Mike Berg, and Joe Coan. (Camden News - February 2, 1953)
