January 20, 1886 - November 3, 1956
H. R. Parr, aged 71, died suddenly at his home, Camden Route 1 early Saturday morning. Mr. Parr had been in ill health for several years. He was born January 20, 1885 in Camden, son of T. M. and Ella Kingwell Parr. Mr. Parr operated a store on Highway 4 for a number of years. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Faye McWhirter, of Fort Worth, Texas, and Miss Mary Olive Parr of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Berdie Irene Stephens, and Guivela England, of Breckenridge, Texas; and Mrs. Ophia Parnell of Los Angeles, Calif., and one grandson. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Proctor Funeral Home. (Camden News - November 3, 1956)
