July 22, 1884 - February 13, 1963
Will R. Parker, aged 78 of 304 Cleveland Avenue, SW, pioneer Camden resident died at his home Wednesday, Mr. Parker was born in Ouachita County on July 22, 1884, the son of John N. and Anna Hawkins Parker. He was a member of the First Methodist Church and was a retired hardware merchant. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lula Sharp Parker; two daughters, Miss Mary Lou Parker of Camden and Mrs. Harry Hawkins of Texarkana; two brothers, Samuel N. Parker and Mrs. Della Means, both of Camden and by two grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Proctor Funeral Chapel, conducted by Dr. George Ivey, and Rev. Hermon Bond. Burial will be in the family plot in Greenwood cemetery. Casket bearers will be Ray Parker of Little Rock, Joe R. Parker, Robert Bivens, Bill Edwards, Herbert Garner and Donald Broach.
