Florence Bann, 84, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, May 15, 2001, in a local hospital. Mrs. Bann was born Feb. 1, 1917, in Texarkana, Ark.
Survivors include one son, Bill Bann of Texarkana; one daughter, Susan DeFoy; six grandchildren, William DeFoy, David DeFoy, William Bann, Erin Bann, Christine Bann and Mike Bann; five great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today in Calvary Cemetery with the Rev. Phillip Reaves officiating. Burial will be under direction of East Funeral Home. The family will be at 3523 Richwood Place. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
