Robert "Bob" Van Crook, Jr., 72, of Vilonia, passed away Friday, July 4, 2008 at Conway Regional Medical Center.
Born June 19, 1936, in Helena, AR, he was a retired mail carrier from the U.S. Postal Service and an Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Van Crook, Sr., and a son, Kevin Crook.
He is survived by his wife Minerva (Atkinson) Crook; a daughter, Gay Leifer and husband Jay of Vilonia; his mother, Pauline Crook (James) Merrifield of Little Rock; a sister, Paula Green of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Katie and Logan Leifer of Vilonia and Bobby and Ben Crook of College Station, TX; and by daughter-in-law, Paula Crook Wilson and husband Mark of College Station.
Graveside services will be Monday, July 7, at 10:00 a.m. at Vilonia Cemetery, Rev. Joe Engdahl officiating
