Mrs. Ellen "Dean" Humphrey, age 87, passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in Conway, Arkansas. She was born March 05, 1924 in Conway, Arkansas to Hermie D. and Willie Mae (Wright) Jefferies. She was married to William Argus "WA" Humphrey for 55 years. She was a retired telephone switchboard operator, housewife, and mother. She was a member of the Woodland Heights Baptist Church, played on a state winning basketball team in high school, a huge Razorbacks fan, and an avid bowler in the Monday Night Avengers League and Thursday Night Mix League.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 2 sisters: Mildred Whorton and Margie Clark.
Visitation will be 5-7:00p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. A memorial service will be 3:00p.m., Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the Roller McNutt Chapel.
