Brenda Carlene (Branscum) Webb the daughter of Carl Branscum and Thelma Lea Hamby Kimberlin Branscum.
Brenda Carlene Branscum Webb, daughter of Thelma Lea Hamby Kimberlin and the late Carl Branscum, was born September 9, 1944 in Culp, Arkansas. She departed this life October 17, 2016 at her home in Mt. Pleasant, Arkansas at the age of 72 years, 1 month and 8 days.
She was united in marriage to Darell Webb December 1, 1995.
She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grand mother great grandmother, homemaker and friend. During her working years, she was employed by North Arkansas Development Council as a pre school teacher, retiring after 20 years of employment. She was of the Pesbyterian faith and a member of Barren Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Mount Pleasant.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years: Darell Webb of the home; two sons: Brent McCurley of Cleburne, Texas and Scott McCurley of Wideman; one daughter: Kendra Hines of Wideman; three stepdaughters: Karen Savell (Bill) of Mount Pleasant, Sharon Blevins (Brooks) of Violet Hill and Kim Dale (Jerry) of Mount Pleasant; two stepsons: Joey Webb (Sondar) of Mount Pleasant and Robbie Webb of Mount Pleasant; one brother: Butch Branscum of California; one sister-in-law: Betty C. Webb of Mount Pleasant; 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; one brother: Stephen Branscum; two stepfathers: Frank Kimberlin and Joe Keeton and one grandson: Aiden McCurley.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Barren Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Mount Pleasant with Alan Meinzer officiating.
Burial will be at Barren Fork Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 18 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Memorials may be made to: Barren Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church,782 Barren Fork Road, Mount Pleasant, AR 72561.
Pallbearers: Jeff Gillihan, James Coy Bray, Curtis Mynatt, David Webb, Josh Webb, Austin Savell, Bryan Blevins and Kinley Dale.
Honorary Pallbearers: Members of Barren Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Toby McCurley, Monte McCurley, Levi McCurley and Brandon Webb.
