James Steven Qualls the husband of Robbie N Qualls. James Steven Qualls the son of James Fred Qualls and Maye (Shaw) Qualls.

James Steven Qualls age 63 of Jonesboro (formerly of Mt. Pleasant) died Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Jonesboro. He was born September 18, 1950 at Mountain Home, Arkansas to Fred and Maye Qualls.

He was a retired USDA grain inspector, a United States Air Force Veteran of Vietnam and of the Presbyterian faith.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Maye Qualls and one brother, Ronnie Qualls.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Robbie Qualls; one son, Phillip Qualls of Jonesboro; one daughter, Amber Jaramillo of Jonesboro; one brother, Bruce Qualls of Mt. Pleasant; one sister , Linda Prey of Orondo, Washington; four grandchildren, Brayton Ragsdale, Kylee Jaramillo, Kobee Jaramillo and Bryanna Jaramillo all of Jonesboro; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services was Friday, September 12, 2014 at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Sammy Lewis officiating.

Burial will follow in the Barren Fork Cemetery located at Mt. Pleasant with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Pallbearers are Rick Webb, Leonard Hames, Brent Tyson, Steve Hayes, Chad Crigler and Shane Parnell.

Honorary pallbearers are Tom Edwards, Billy Brooks, Collie Shaw, Michael Garner, Ryan Crook, Larry Shaw, Marshall Shaw, Bill Younger, Robbie Jay Qualls, Shelby Qualls, Greg Gould and Kenneth Fulbright
