Jim Mainard, 62, of Ozark died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, in Ozark.
Jim was born Feb. 21, 1953, in Ozark to Clifton and Gelene Whitson Mainard.
He was an Attorney, practicing law in the Ozark area his entire career. He was a member of the Franklin County Bar Association and the Arkansas Bar Association. Jim received his law degree at the University of Arkansas and was a member of Pi Beta Sigma and Pi Beta Kapa. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Ozark, where he served on the finance committee.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by his wife, Judy Mason Mainard.
He is survived by his son, Jay and wife Caitlyn Mainard of Ozark; grandchildren, Ella Gelene Mainard and James Colin Mainard; his aunt, Norma Whitson; and close friends Cindy and Phil Nichols.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Ozark with the Rev. Jeff Jackson officiating and burial at Highland Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home in Ozark.
Serving as pallbearers will be Phillip Smith, Wallace Alston, Mack McCain, Rick Weaver, Phil Nichols and George Lindley.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Franklin County Bar Association.
