Paul Lester Tucker, age 80, of Vilonia, passed away Wednesday, September 21st, 2005, at his home. He was born October 20, 1924, in Vilonia to the late Walter William Tucker and Alice Emma (Priest) Tucker. He was a cement finisher for over 40 years and a member of the First Baptist Church of Vilonia. He was a WWII Navy veteran and served as a Seaman First Class aboard the USS Maryland. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Lorene (Webb) Tucker; his four children, David Paul Tucker, Doyle Wayne Tucker, Tim Lynn Tucker, and Paula Sue Campbell and husband Stan, all of Vilonia; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, George Tucker, Hartley Tucker, Hubert Tucker, and two sisters, Cordie Weaver and Lola Middleton. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday at First Baptist Church in Vilonia with Rev. John Hamby and Rev. Sam Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Vilonia Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Pallbearers will be Stan Campbell, Randall Walker, Jared Upton, Jeremy Webb, Brandon Fowlkes, Randy Weaver, Roger Weaver, and Elijah Shaw.
