Richard Henslee, 83, of Ozark, Arkansas, died Monday, July 25, 2016, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He was born November 26, 1932 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Edgar and Mamie Totty Henslee.
He was a retired City of Ozark Employee, attended Living Water Assembly of God Church in Ozark, and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Medlock Henslee of Ozark; four sons, Coy Doss of Ozark, Richard Doss of Modesto, California, Randy Henslee of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Roy Henslee of Mukilteo, Washington; two daughters, Brenda Gil of Winston Salem, North Carolina, and Sharon Henslee of Fort Smith; eleven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Glen McAlister and Brother George Willis officiating and burial at Highland Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers and great grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
