Billy Joe “Bud” Lynch, 77, of Rockaway Beach, Missouri, formerly of Ozark, Arkansas, died Wednesday, September 7, 2016 in Branson, Missouri.
He was born March 2, 1939, in Paducah, Kentucky to Paul and Pauline Hooper Lynch.
He was a retired oil field employee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Linda Lynch, a son Robert Elwood, a grandson Timmy Joe Lynch, Jr., and three sisters, Betty Wilcox, Judy Whitaker, and Pauletta Maupin.
He is survived by three sons, Dale Lynch and wife Jackie of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Tim Lynch and wife Margaret of McEwen, Tennessee, and Jimmie Elwood of Bakersfield, California; four daughters, Dianne Lynch Cannon of Dickson, Tennessee, Donna Turner and husband Donald of Ozark, Christine East and husband Hank of Joshua Tree, California,and Cindy Gordon and husband Dave of Tujunga, California; sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; longtime friend Bobby Nichols; and his beloved pet Niki.
Serving as pallbearers are Jackie and Terry Nichols, D.J. and Tyler Turner, Jessie Lindsey, and Matthew Lewis.

Linda J. Lynch, 66 of Rockaway Beach, Missouri, formerly of Ozark, Arkansas, died Sunday, April 29, 2012 in her home.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was born September 3, 1945 in Monroe, Louisiana to A.J. and Bessie Millican Lindsey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Robert Elwood; two brothers, Allen and Noel Lindsey; one sister, Betty Sue Pate.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Shaffer Funeral Home with Brother Ricky Jackson officiating with burial at Highland Cemetery in Ozark, under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Lynch of Rockaway Beach, formerly of Ozark; three daughters, Christine East of Joshua Tree, California, Donna Turner of Ozark, and Cindy Gordon of Tujunga, California; one son, Jimmy Elwood of Bakersfield, California; one step daughter, Diane Cannon of Tennessee; two step sons, Dale Lynch of Colorado and Timmy Lynch of Tennessee; two sisters, Lorene Parker and Clara Tidwell both of Louisiana; two brothers, Billy Lindsey of California and James Lindsey of Ozark; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Bruce Holeman, Jessie Lindsey, D.J. and Tyler Turner, Stan Pollard and Matt Lewis.
