Sharon Kay Sell, 70, of Conway passed from this life on Monday, December 10, 2012. Born in Waterloo, Iowa on April 27, 1942, she was a daughter to Ernest and Kathleen Vargenson Mundt. Mrs. Sell was a loving mother and grandmother and a member of Vilonia First United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School. She was a member of the Home Extension Club and the Senior Citizens Center; she also was a Cub Scout Den Mother. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Jay L. Sell, Sr.
Survivors include her children, Jay Sell, Jr. of Denver Colorado, Mike Sell (Cheryl) of Memphis, Tennessee, Rick Sell (Diane) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Joseph Sell (Janice), Christina McEntire and Travis Sell (Misty)all of Conway, Arkansas and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, Dec. 14, in the chapel at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Interment will follow at Vilonia Cemetery, with Mike Sell, Richard Sell, Travis Sell, and Nathan Sell serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, at the funeral home.
Jay L. Sell, 70, of Conway, Arkansas, died Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at Conway Regional Health System. He was born September 9, 1939, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, a son of the late Walter Henry and Alberta Alice (Olson) Sell.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, James W. Sell and his sister, Janice Trager.
Jay was a member of Vilonia United Methodist Church, and had been a Sunday school teacher for the young adults and worked with the youth group. He was an assistant Cub Scouts Troop Leader. Mr. Sell was retired from the Air Force, and Virco.
Survivors are his wife, Sharon K. Sell of Conway; children, Jay Sell, Jr. of Denver, Colorado; Mike Sell of Memphis, Tennessee; Rick Sell of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Joseph Sell, Christina McEntire and Travis Sell all of Conway; and 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6 – 8:00 pm, Friday, September 3, 2010, at the funeral home. Funeral will be 10:00 am, Saturday, in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway. Burial will follow in Vilonia Cemetery.
